Taichi is an ancient martial art, one of the famous and popular systems of Chinese gymnastics, a kind of "soft wushu", in which health-improving, spiritual-philosophical and martial aspects of practice are merged.
Nowadays in China, tai chi is recognized as one of the most effective practices for maintaining physical, emotional health, as well as spiritual development. For example, Chinese astronauts are advised to practice tai chi during flights.
Tai Chi Qigong is a type of Tai Chi and is more focused on the health aspect and the development of the inner strength of "Qi".
